The Story of H4RDM

H4RDMis the alias of DJ and producer Harm Spijker, a seasoned artist with over 30 years of experiencein the house and techno scene. After two decades of stepping back as a producer, 2025 marks his first full year of creating music again—bringing a renewed energy and fresh perspective to his sound.

H4RDM's music is a powerful fusion of raw and melodic techno-house, where he plays with contrasts—hard vs. soft, sweet vs. raw—to create an electrifying and immersive experience.

A Legacy of Sound & Influence

Growing up with the rise of house music in the ‘90s, Harm was shaped by an eclectic mix of musical influences, from N.W.A. and Ice-T to Metallica, Joey Beltram, and Carl Cox. The raw and hard-edged sound of Rotterdam's underground sceneleft a lasting impact, fueling his passion for pushing sonic boundaries.

Years of international travel and exposure to diverse musical cultureshave helped define his unique sound today. In 2024, he built a custom studio (Jan Morel)—a space designed entirely for creative freedom. Now, the first releases from this reborn artistic era are making their way into the world.

The title of his first track in years, "New Era,"is no coincidence—it symbolizes a new solo chapter for H4RDM. But he’s not stopping there. Several exciting collaborationsare in the works, promising an even wider sonic exploration.
